Cautious Optimism Signals SPAC Market Recovery
A new survey of SPAC professionals—conducted by DealFlow Events at The SPAC Conference in June 2025—shows a shift in sentiment: cautious optimism is replacing skepticism. Investment bankers, attorneys, sponsors, and investors indicate the SPAC market may be turning a corner, with expectations for stronger IPO activity and better de-SPAC performance over the next year. While challenges remain, the SPAC market appears to be regaining its footing with a clearer path forward.

- Market Sentiment Stabilizing: Most respondents rate the SPAC market as “Somewhat Healthy”; 84% view it as at least “Somewhat” or “Very Healthy.”
- IPO Activity Set to Rise: Over 95% expect moderate to significant growth in SPAC IPOs within the next 12 months.
- Challenges Persist: Top concerns: weak public market performance, negative media sentiment, and PIPE financing difficulties.
